2023 Internship Video

The 2023 MyARInternship class recently completed eight weeks of service to the State of Arkansas. These interns came from all over the country, representing colleges and universities in Arkansas and across the nation, to serve the executive-level State departments. This video is a brief look at some of the activities they enjoyed during their time as Arkansas State Government interns.

The MyARInternship applications for Summer 2024 are open until March 16, 2024!

About the Internship

The MyARInternship Program allows students to develop a rich understanding of Arkansas State government through in-depth experiences all while cultivating professional relationships and lifelong friendships. Opportunities available during this internship may include meeting with the Governor at the Governor’s Mansion, touring and learning more about the State departments, meeting the Cabinet Secretaries, working on projects that directly affect the lives of Arkansas citizens, and much more! Applications for this internship are closed.

As a political science student who always thought, “I want a future job in Washington DC,” this internship has completely changed my perspective on State Government. Now, I genuinely want to work here!

2022 Department of Transfomation and Shared Services Intern

My favorite thing about the MyARInternship program was the friends I made! Unlike a lot of internships out there, it provided an educational experience centered around people.
