The State Cybersecurity Office (SCSO) stands as a proactive 24/7/365 front line of defense against malicious traffic, hackers, threat actors, and cyberattacks keeping the state’s data safe from theft. The SCSO offers IT services to all public entities on the state network, the SCSO wields statutory authority to monitor, restrict, and protect state information assets. Moreover, the SCSO is strategically positioned to provide structured governance for cybersecurity awareness training, incident response training, and cyber risk assessments on a statewide level.
