Arkansas’s Business Emergency Listing (ABEL)

In order to better serve the agencies and the governing authorities of the State of Arkansas, the AR Department of Emergency Management, the Department of Finance and Administration, and the Office of State Procurement have prepared this emergency index to retain and use during the activation of a state declared emergency.

Providing an emergency listing of your business commodity does not establish a contract for purchasing through the State of Arkansas. This listing is a reference to pull immediate and necessary items required when operating on a daily regular purchasing requirement basis.

Pricing applied to emergency procured items will be set at the pricing offered to retail/wholesale, fifteen (15) days prior to the state declared emergency. No payments will be provided without proof of these prices and justified by the Department of Finance and Administration. Should FEMA assist in the state declared emergency, any direct purchases between FEMA and said Vendor will not be affected. The State of Arkansas will not be responsible for payments or monies negotiated between FEMA and said, Vendor.
