The outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is continuing to cause a disruption in our everyday lives. The Employee Benefits Division wants to ensure that treatment and prevention care remain accessible to all members throughout the duration of this pandemic. In response to this commitment, we feel it is helpful to extend the following benefits through October 23, 2020.
- No-Cost or Prior Authorization for In-Network Coronavirus Testing: If your provider determines that diagnostic testing is necessary, member and dependents can get tested without a co-pay, co-insurance, or deductible. Additionally, no prior authorization paperwork will be required as along as all CDC guidelines are met.
- Coverage for Telemedicine at No Member Cost Share: Telemedicine appointments will be covered with no deductible, co-insurance or co-pay.
It is important to remember that in order to utilize these benefits listed above, you must use an in-network provider.
