TSS 3rd Annual Holiday Celebration

Written by Brooke Hollowoa

December 17, 2021

Well, well, well, (or should we say Ho, Ho, Ho?), it’s that time again! Time for the Department of Transformation and Shared Services (TSS) family to come together and celebrate the holiday season and the end of 2021. When TSS became a department in 2019, Secretary Fecher had the vision to create a culture that embodies an environment of hard work, fun, and a high level of job satisfaction. To do that, we host employee engagement events for our staff to drop by and do something fun in their workday.

This week, TSS hosted the 3rd annual Holiday Celebration.  Our team came together for laughs and hot chocolate and even got to see a few ugly sweaters for the sweater competition. They went ALL OUT this year. Those who attended witnessed homemade sweaters, vintage sweaters, and lots of sweaters with cats on them.

Ericka Maness, Business Operations
Ed Armstrong, Office of State Procurement
George Henderson, Division of Building Authority

We divided the event into two floors so the attendees could see more of the Winthrop Rockefeller Building than they do on their typical day. In addition, we created a festive scavenger hunt for employees to learn more about their colleagues. We learned who the employees are who are fully decorated before Thanksgiving and those who think Die Hard is a Christmas movie. Overall, this celebration was a blast, and we love hearing positive feedback from our team.

We enjoy seeing our staff socialize with each other and look forward to the next event. Be on the lookout on our Facebook and Twitter pages to see the winners of our sweater competition. Happy Holidays, everyone!
