Maintains ledger for budget and justification for purchases on agency vehicles, reflecting year, make, model, social security number of operator, license number, purchase price and date, unit assigned to, maintenance and repair costs, insurance rate, total operating cost, and total mileage used. Prepares vehicle purchase documents and obtains licenses and insurance. Notifies units when vehicle inspection is due, receives inspection slip, obtains license renewal, and sends decal to units for placement on vehicle. Prepares various reports concerning vehicle use, maintenance and repair costs, operating cost, and mileage and fuel costs. Inspects incoming supplies and verifies against requisitions to ensure orders are correct, prepares reports on items received, and maintains inventory of office supplies for department. Maintains film library and fuel credit card records and logs, requesting new cards as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
