Introduction to Negotiations is primarily a class for newly hired procurement personnel responsible for obtaining lowest cost pricing for commodities and services purchased by their entity. This class covers an introduction to basic negotiation options permitted under procurement law, types of negotiations, and tips for negotiation strategy. Introduction to Negotiations can also serve as a refresher for seasoned employees. The class time allotted is for one hour, followed by an optional thirty-minute Q&A period, as needed.
