At-home COVID-19 testing kits available in Arkansas
Effective January 15, 2022, up to eight (8) at-home COVID-19 test kits per individual, per month are eligible for coverage. There are several options for locating a testing kit:
- Pick up a test kit for free from certain local libraries and Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) local health units. Find exact locations here.
- Order up to four (4) free at-home COVID-19 test kits per household through COVIDtests.gov. Free delivery is included.
Purchasing from a pharmacy or retailer
Purchase an approved test kit from a pharmacy or retailer. If you choose this route, you will need to submit a reimbursement form along with a picture of the front of the test box and proof of payment.
CARES Act Coverage
The following Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act provisions are extended until July 15, 2022
- No-cost for diagnostic testing related to the diagnosis of COVID-19.
- No-cost for in-person or virtual appointments related to COVID-19 testing.
