STADIUM COMMISSION CUSTODIAN
The Stadium Commission Custodian is responsible for the general maintenance and
upkeep of concourse and concession areas of the stadium. This position is governed by
state and federal laws and agency policy.

Typical Functions:
Performs stadium general maintenance and upkeep of concourse and concession areas of
stadium.
Maintains upkeep and repair of concrete, turf, cosmetics, electrical, plumbing, and
winterizing of the stadium area.
Ensures stadium equipment, bleachers, ramps, doors, gates, elevators, gators, golf carts,
blowers, and lawn mowers are operational.
Assists with office duties when needed and works closely with the stadium manager.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:
Knowledge of the operation and safety procedures of various types of construction and
maintenance equipment.
Knowledge of operations and procedures and of the proper use of mechanized equipment.
Ability to operate and analyze problems in the operation and performance of routine
maintenance on various types of equipment.
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions and explanations and
demonstrations.
Ability to maintain simple records of operation and maintenance schedules.
Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of experience in the
operation and adjustment of maintenance equipment.
