OAL SALES TRNG & RETAIL COORD

The Office of Arkansas Lottery (OAL) Sales Training & Retail Coordinator is responsible for customer product relations, support of product development, production of instant and online games, performing required processes in these areas, and support of all games and player rewards program(s). Assisting the Gaming Director with creation of standard operating procedures; providing support for day-to-day responsibilities; and performing daily operations and complete all projects assigned by Director of Gaming. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.

Special Job Requirements:

This position will involve occasional in-state travel.

Typical Functions:

Assist with game design, promotional strategies, and product research. Serve as point of contact with for product questions from other departments and the public. Review ticket artwork, prize structures, programming parameters, order quantities, pricing, and other specifications contained in the working papers and/or specifications for each game. Contact winners for second-chance drawings, Points for drawings and Play It Again. Provide support for all aspects of loyalty program. Create and maintains product rules (game, second-chance promotions and other programs) and ensures they are reviewed and uploaded to websites. Prepare and maintains analysis of game sales including documents, charts, sales and draw tracking reports, etc. Maintain winner listings and is the principal communicator from product to claim centers. Responsible for creation and dissemination of product-related information. Review product-related articles written for publication. Provide support to OAL staff, OAL management, the public, and other interested groups for games, promotions and other product programs. Become informed and knowledgeable on all aspects of product development and information. Respond to product information requests and questions from customers for â€ÂœASL Infoâ€Â email. Maintain documentation for Fast Play game library, works with advertising on game overviews, and distributes to OAL staff. Support product press releases and prize fulfillment events. Prepare and perform research surveys with other lotteries as directed. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:

Ability to plan and implement engaging promotional events. Ability to manage project strategies that support key campaigns, promotions, game launches. Ability to conduct interviews and interact well with people of all ages, races, religions, etc. Ability to collect and write compelling content for email and/or printed publications. Ability to be analytical, statistical, creative, and highly organized; prioritizing your work schedule to meet deadlines. Ability to communicate in a professional manner that is effective and efficient. Ability to work well with team members. Knowledge analytical tools. Knowledge of consumer interpretation to gaming content, products, and development processes. Knowledge of journalistic writing styles and ethics. Knowledge of format, design, and layout for publication and email purposes. Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Powerpoint, and Word, Abode Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Minimum Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, or a related field; plus a minimum of 18 months of demonstrated experience in lottery gaming, lottery product development, and project management.

Required Certificates:

Must possess a valid Arkansas driver’s license.
