DLL CONTRACTORS LICENSE ADMR/INVEST

The Contractors' License Administrator/Investigation of the Contractors' Licensing Board is responsible for supervising daily operations of the Board. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.

Special Job Requirements:

Typical Functions:

Directs, oversees, and monitors the agency’s overall operations. Supervises subordinates including interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating performance, and terminating personnel. Reviews violations and issues notices. Plans annual operations plans and annual budgets. Executes all board policy and directives to industry. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:

Knowledge of agency policy and procedures. Knowledge of state budgetary, human resources, and purchasing procedures. Ability to supervise a subordinate professional and administrative support staff. Ability to analyze financial information and prepare reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, public administration or a related field; plus six years of progressively more responsible experience in administrative or investigative operations, including three years in a professional managerial capacity.
