DLL BD-ACCT CREDENTIALING COORD/EXAM SPC

The Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy Credentialing Coordinator/Examination Specialist is responsible for processing examination and annual registration applications, screening academic transcripts, maintaining the organization's administrative files, and serving as the organization's receptionist. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.

Typical Functions:

Coordinates Certified Public Accountant examination applications for eligibility and review. Conducts receptionist and bookkeeping duties. Conducts research and prepares reports for executive director. Backs ups agency file/server and maintains operations data. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:

Knowledge of general office and bookkeeping procedures. Knowledge of computer and software applications. Ability to analyze and apply information. Ability to perform routine system maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus three years of experience in administrative support or a related field. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management. OTHER JOB RELATED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ALL OR PART OF THESE BASIC REQUIREMENTS, EXCEPT FOR CERTIFICATION OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS, UPON APPROVAL OF THE QUALIFICATIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE.
