AHC NURSING DIRECTOR
The Arkansas Health Center (AHC) Nursing Director is responsible for directing, organizing, and coordinating nursing operations and patient care programs. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.

Typical Functions:
Supervises and directs activities of personnel and programs engaged in carrying out divisional objectives, utilizing knowledge of agency purposes, rules, regulations, procedures, and practices.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:
Knowledge of state budgetary, human resources, and purchasing procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in nursing; plus seven years of progressively more responsible experience in nursing, including five years in a professional managerial or supervisory capacity.
