Matthew Charton, Chair

Matthew Charton is the Director of geospatial services for DataScout. Matt has been actively involved in the GIS community for a number of years.

He’s done some remarkable work for Arkansas Game & Fish Commission, and now works directly with a number of counties specifically working on the County Assessor mapping projects to build and maintain a GIS layer of property ownership.

He has overseen numerous large and small GIS projects in the state and most recently has developed OneMap which is a proprietary software systems that allows counties to edit and update GIS data through web browser.
